Russia and Turkey may start consultations on the issue of aircraft maintenance under sanctions, an informed source in one of the Turkish companies told RIA Novosti.

Earlier, RBC reported that Havaş, the company servicing planes at Turkish airports, warned that it could stop accepting more than 170 Boeing of Russian airlines due to US sanctions.
The interlocutor of the agency stressed that he had seen these messages, but “at the moment no official notifications have been received in this regard.”

“The Russian market is significant for companies engaged in service, transportation. Therefore, when risks arise, consultations are not excluded, this is a workflow. But at the moment there are no problems,” the source said.
